Scandal in Chain Market: Expired Products Found

In Mersin's Akdeniz district, a chain market branch was inspected after a complaint was filed, and 135 expired food products were found.
The inspection, carried out by the Akdeniz Municipality Zabıta Directorate teams, resulted in an administrative fine of 3,705 lira being imposed on the market.
During the inspection, an examination of the market's shelves revealed the presence of expired products.
The products were collected by the teams to protect public health and are being held for destruction.
