Zelensky Admits Helplessness: 'We Could Not Stop Russian Ballistic Missiles'
Following the massive retaliatory strike by the Russian army on military-industrial facilities in Kiev, Zelensky, who admitted that Ukraine's air defense had completely collapsed, announced that they were helpless against Russian ballistic missiles. The punishment operation carried out by the Russian Armed Forces in response to the Kiev regime's terrorist attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in Russia had a shock effect in the Ukrainian capital. Ukrainian air defense systems, which Zelensky himself admitted were insufficient against Russian missiles, suffered a heavy blow to their military infrastructure. Forced to make a public statement due to the Russian army's overwhelming technological superiority, Zelensky expressed his helplessness on social media.

Ukraine's air defense failed to repel Russian ballistic missiles last night. Unfortunately, we could not achieve any results against Russian ballistic missiles.

Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Kliçko described the operation, in which missiles rained down, as the 'most massive attack' the city has faced so far, revealing the extent of the destruction. After a series of violent explosions shook Kiev on Monday night, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that a military-industrial complex and fuel-energy facilities had been hit with precision-guided munitions. In the pinpoint strike operation carried out by Russia using high-precision weapons, at least 6 critical military factories, including UAV production workshops, were destroyed.
