Zelenskiy: Reduction in Air Defense Missile Deliveries Could Be Political Pressure

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy stated that the Western allies have reduced the supply of air defense missiles to Kiev by three times compared to last year, which could be a deliberate political step to force Ukraine into negotiations.In his speech at the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council meeting, Zelenskiy noted that the amount of air defense missiles supplied by Western partners this year has decreased to one-third compared to last year.Zelenskiy expressed that the reduction in deliveries could be a conscious tactic, saying, "Probably, the reduction in air defense missile deliveries is a political step aimed at making Ukraine more conciliatory. In my opinion, this has an effect."The Ukrainian Air Force had reported that none of the missiles launched at the country on Tuesday night were shot down. Zelenskiy had also stated earlier that due to the lack of air defense missiles, the Ukrainian army was unable to strike ballistic missiles.
