Zaharova Calls on IAEA to Condemn the Murder of Zaporozhye NPP Chief Engineer

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova made a stern statement regarding the murder of Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Chief Engineer Alexander Yakovlev, who was killed in a Ukrainian drone attack. Zakharova called on the international community to take action and demanded a clear response from the IAEA. Addressing the IAEA Director General, Zakharova stated that it is time for him to acknowledge the crime committed by the Kiev regime. Previously, Russian State Nuclear Energy Corporation (Rosatom) Director General Alexey Likhachev announced that the vehicle carrying Yakovlev was targeted by a Ukrainian army drone.
