Zaharova: Ukraine's Attacks on Ships are Destabilizing the Global Food Market

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova criticized Ukraine's targeting of ships in the region. Zakharova stated that the Ukrainian military's attacks on ships in the Azov and Black Seas were a military operation aimed at creating chaos in the global food market. She emphasized that the Kiev regime has increased its attacks on civilian ships and vessels carrying agricultural products using drones and intelligence data received from NATO and EU countries during the summer. Zakharova noted that the West's unilateral restrictions on Russia have further worsened the situation, with grain and fertilizer shortages growing, global food prices rising, and countries in the Global South and East becoming hostages to this irresponsible policy. The Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman also conveyed the message that the Russian military will continue its operations to neutralize security threats in the Black Sea.
