Zaharova Responds Harshly to Ukrainian General Staff Chief

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova assessed the statements of the new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Mikhail Drapaty, targeting the Russian people. Zakharova stated that Drapaty's insulting expressions towards Russian citizens reveal the ideological orientation of the Kiev administration. Drapaty's statements were described by Zakharova as "an indicator of Kiev's neonazism". The previous statement by Ukrainian General Staff Chief Mikhail Drapaty, who referred to Russian citizens as “a nation that has no right to exist”, was deemed unacceptable by Zakharova.
