Rainfall Warning Across the Country: Temperature Above Seasonal Norms

According to the latest weather forecast by the Meteorology General Directorate, local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the Toroslar region of the Mediterranean, the coastal areas of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, and many provinces. The air temperature will be 1 to 3 degrees above the seasonal norms. The Meteorology General Directorate announced that the southern and eastern parts of Turkey will be partially and very cloudy, while other regions will be less cloudy and clear.According to the predictions, local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the surroundings of Edirne, Denizli, Burdur, Bolu, Karabük, Artvin, Ardahan, Ağrı, Bitlis, Van, and Hakkari, as well as in the inner areas of Aydın, Muğla, and Antalya. No significant change is expected in air temperatures. It is forecasted that temperatures will be 1 to 3 degrees above the seasonal norms across the country. The highest temperatures of the day are expected to be 39 degrees in Şanlıurfa, 37 degrees in Denizli and Diyarbakır, and 36 degrees in İzmir, Manisa, Gaziantep, and Mardin.The Meteorology General Directorate stated that the wind will blow strongly from the north and northeast at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour in the southwestern Marmara and the northern Aegean coasts.
