Greek Food Couriers Abandon Work Ahead of World Cup Final

Food couriers in various regions of Greece have abandoned work in protest of their working conditions. In the Attiki region, which includes Athens, a work stoppage was carried out at 19.00 at the call of the unions. The couriers' demands include permanent employment, adequate wages, and increased job security measures. Workers on the Efood platform announced that they would stop working during the World Cup final in Attiki, Thessaloniki, Larisa, Volos, and Messinia.
