Teaching staff who have reached the age of retirement can continue to work contractually for two years at a time, provided they do not exceed the age of 75, in areas where universities need them.Teaching staff who receive invitations from universities in Turkish Republics and related communities can be granted leave for up to 3 years, and up to 5 years for programs covered by international agreements. Final-year students who have completed their maximum study period will be given two additional exams or a repeat chance for courses they failed or could not take. With this regulation, students who have completed their theoretical courses but have not completed their practical training or internship will be given the opportunity to complete their education.
