The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has updated the technical and administrative principles for building demolition processes, introducing critical standards for high-rise demolitions and explosive demolitions. According to the new regulation, buildings with a height of less than 18.5 meters will generally not require a technical responsibility condition. However, this condition may be mandatory in certain special cases. Security measures for the demolition of high-rise buildings and explosive demolitions have been maximized. The evaluation of meteorological conditions before explosive demolition operations has become compulsory. Additionally, all processes of the explosion will be recorded with high-speed cameras. These measures will ensure that all criteria for environmental and occupational health and safety legislation, as well as dust, vibration, and noise limits, are fully met during demolition operations.
