No Changes in YKS and LGS Exams, But Content Will Be Updated

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin stated that a new question pool is being created for the next year's LGS and YKS exams, saying, "We are creating a brand new pool for the next year's LGS and YKS exams, so there is no change in the exam, but the content and question pool of the exam will be according to the new curriculum."Minister Tekin answered questions about what will change and what will not in the Higher Education Institutions Exam.

I do not agree with the view that 'There will be no need for teachers, everything will be done through artificial intelligence.', I think it is not correct.

Emphasizing that it is natural for the questions in the exams to be prepared according to the new curriculum, Minister Tekin said,

Currently, neither we nor the YÖK have any changes to the exam system on our agenda. Neither in transitioning to high schools nor to universities.

When asked to compare his own student days with the present, Minister Tekin stated that this would be anachronistic, as there are significant differences between the two periods.Pointing out that the competition is more intense, Minister Tekin said, "I would have been happier if there were classes of 20 students."
