With the new week, the heat wave that caused record temperatures in Europe will also increase its impact in Turkey. The perceived temperatures in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions are expected to exceed 40 degrees, while in Southeastern Anatolia, they are expected to approach 45 degrees. Experts emphasize that citizens with heart, blood pressure, and chronic illnesses should be more cautious against the heat. The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) announced that no precipitation is expected throughout the week. The AKOM statement said, 'In Istanbul, while no precipitation is expected, a mostly sunny sky is expected to dominate.'
