New Appointments: Changes in Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure

Following the publication of the decisions in the Official Gazette, Ahmet Hamdi Atalay was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure. With this appointment, Ömer Fatih Sayan and Ahmet Çağrı Çiçek were also appointed as members of the EPDK. Atalay's appointment is seen as a significant change in the sector.Atalay graduated from Yıldız Technical University in 1984 and later completed his master's degree in cybersecurity at Gazi University. Throughout his career, Atalay has held important positions in the public and defense industries, including being a member of the Information Technologies and Communication Authority, General Manager of HAVELSAN AŞ, and Advisor to the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey's National Defense Commission.Ahmet Hamdi Atalay had been serving as the General Manager of TÜRKSAT AŞ since September 26, 2024. Now, he is starting his new role as the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.
