Yalova-Armutlu Road to Open Tomorrow

According to the statements of Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, the Yalova-Armutlu road, which will be put into service tomorrow, will reduce the travel time by half. The Yalova-Armutlu road was built on a 45-kilometer route. As part of the project, a 2.5-kilometer section was built as a bituminous hot mix divided road, a 10.7-kilometer section as a bituminous hot mix single road, and a 31.8-kilometer section as a surface-coated single road. On the Yalova-Armutlu road, 6 tunnels, 4 viaducts, 5 bridges, and 3 level crossings were built in the Esenköy section. Minister Uraloğlu stated that the project will not only increase transportation comfort but also make a significant contribution to the country's economy. Yalova has become one of the most important centers in the region with its increasing investments, growing shipyards, tourism potential, and industrial infrastructure in recent years. It is noted that the new road will both support economic mobility and make the region's transportation infrastructure stronger.
