Rainy Weather Approaching Turkey: Experts Warn Istanbul

A rainy weather system coming from the Balkans will affect Istanbul and many other regions. Meteorology expert Dilek Çalışkan warned of local downpours, flash floods, and hail on Thursday and Friday, while AKOM announced that the rains will intensify from Friday evening. Today, the temperatures will be high across the country and in Istanbul, according to Dilek Çalışkan, who urged caution until Sunday. The rains may be locally heavy, and small hail can form with the cool air, she said. On Thursday, the downpours will continue during the day, and the rain will have its strongest impact in Istanbul on Saturday, affecting not only Istanbul but also the entire Marmara, Western Black Sea, Inner Anatolia, Inner Aegean, and as far as Adana.
