Foreign Player Rule Announcement: What's Changed?

The Turkish Football Federation has made an important announcement regarding the foreign player rule. The statement indicated that the 10+4 rule will be applied in the new season.The announcement came after discussions about the foreign player rule.

There will be no changes to the previously announced principles regarding the foreign player rule to be applied in the Trendyol Super League in the 2026-2027 season, which has been frequently discussed in public opinion in recent days. Within the scope of the foreign football player application, which we announced at the beginning of last season, no age criterion is sought for the 10 foreign football players that the clubs will include in their A Team List. If 14 foreign football players are written to the A Team Lists, at least 4 of them must have been born on or after January 1, 2003.
