Visa Appointment Scam: 49 People Detained in 6 Cities

A simultaneous operation was carried out in six cities in Turkey, targeting a network that provided visa consultancy services. The network used 'bot' software to lock the appointment systems of consulates and authorized agencies, causing citizens to become victims. As a result, 49 people were detained. It was determined that the network defrauded over 41,000 people and had a money flow of 2.8 billion TL in their accounts. The operation was carried out simultaneously in six cities. The operation was conducted in cooperation with relevant institutions to prevent citizens from becoming victims.
