Venezuela Earthquakes Aftermath: High Death Toll and Homelessness

The death toll from the earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to 920, with 3,360 injured. National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez made a statement regarding the earthquakes:

Unfortunately, we have to announce that 920 people lost their lives

According to Rodriguez, more than 4,000 people have been left homeless. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing. The earthquakes in Venezuela measured 7.5 and 7.2 in magnitude. Authorities stated that search and rescue operations are continuing and aid is being delivered.
