Turkey Sends Humanitarian Aid to Venezuela After Earthquakes
Following the earthquakes in Venezuela's Yaracuy region, Turkey is sending search and rescue teams and humanitarian aid. The teams, coordinated by AFAD, will travel to Venezuela on two military cargo planes. After the earthquakes in Venezuela, the region is receiving search and rescue and humanitarian aid. According to AFAD's statement, after the consecutive earthquakes in Venezuela's Yaracuy region, coordination was made with the relevant institutions and the aid process was initiated quickly. A total of 38 AFAD Search and Rescue team members from Istanbul, Izmir, and Denizli, 5 UMKE team members from the Ministry of Health, 2 humanitarian aid team members from the Turkish Red Crescent, 2 search dogs, and 3 search and rescue vehicles will be sent to the region on an A-400M military transport plane allocated by the General Staff.
