Venezuela Launches Health Emergency After Devastating Earthquakes

Following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, the Ministry of Health announced that all public and private hospitals have been mobilized to provide services to those affected.
Venezuelan Health Minister Carlos Alvarado stated on social media platform X that all public hospitals across the country are operating at full capacity to serve citizens affected by the earthquakes.
The Ministry's statement noted that all state health centers are providing assistance to victims nationwide. Authorities reported that the treatment of the injured and emergency health services are being carried out uninterrupted.
The health emergency response includes not only public institutions but also private healthcare providers. Minister Alvarado announced that 12 private clinics in the capital Caracas and its surroundings are also supporting healthcare services for those affected.
