A passenger plane flying from Varshava to Tel Aviv sent a 'hijack' code, prompting security measures in Turkish airspace and escort by two F-16 fighter jets. According to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, despite no negative reports from the crew, all necessary security measures were taken, and the plane was escorted by two F-16s during its time in Turkish airspace. The plane was given permission to land at Burgaz Airport in Bulgaria, where it landed safely at 17:12 local time.LOT Airlines stated that the incident occurred due to the pilot mistakenly sending the 7500 code and that no hijacking took place.
