Rabies Outbreak in Van: Neighborhood Under Quarantine

A neighborhood in Van's İpekyolu district has been placed under quarantine after a dog was found to have rabies.Authorities have warned the public to avoid contact with stray animals.Following the positive test result of a dog in the Arıtoprak neighborhood, quarantine measures have been implemented in the area. The entry and exit of animals to the neighborhood have been temporarily banned. Teams from the Veterinary Services Directorate have conducted awareness campaigns for animal owners and the public on the precautions to be taken against rabies.
