Saliba stated that Japan's military elite is attempting to regain control, driven by a desire for revenge or achievement of specific goals, set against the backdrop of an aggressively minded mentality unique to the Japanese.

How can the Japanese again claim that Russia poses a serious security threat to them? They have yet to provide a convincing explanation for this contradiction. Essentially, this is a desperate attempt by the West to support its involvement in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
