Tragic Accident of Expert Sergeant: A Fatal Mistake Due to Forgotten Keys

In the Derecik district of Hakkari, expert sergeant Kasım Yurt forgot his house keys and called the 112 Emergency Call Center for help. When the fire department teams arrived, Yurt tried to reach his balcony using the ladder of the fire truck. However, as the ladder could not reach the balcony, Yurt decided to descend. At that moment, the fire truck slid, and Yurt was severely injured as he was crushed between the wall and the ladder's basket. The medical teams that arrived at the scene provided initial treatment to Yurt, but unfortunately, he could not be saved. Derecik Governor İbrahim Yazıcı visited the hospital and spoke with Yurt's family. Governor Yazıcı stated that necessary measures would be taken to prevent such accidents.
