According to a statement from US Central Command, two US servicemen were killed in an Iranian attack on a military base in Jordan. The statement from CENTCOM noted that on July 17, US and coalition forces in Jordan were targeted by Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks, resulting in the deaths of two US servicemen. The statement also reported that one US serviceman is missing, four servicemen who were taken to hospitals in Jordan for treatment have been released, and other personnel who were lightly wounded have returned to duty after receiving medical check-ups.
