Famous Fashion Designer Cemil İpekçi Criticizes Bodrum Municipality

Celebrity fashion designer Cemil İpekçi has spoken out against the prices at cafes run by the Bodrum Municipality. İpekçi criticized the sale of hamburgers for 500 lira at municipal cafes. İpekçi considers these prices to be unacceptable and believes that municipal enterprises have strayed from their purpose. In a video he recorded at Mahfel Municipal Cafe, İpekçi drew attention to the prices of products sold at municipal cafes.

It's unacceptable for a hamburger to be sold for around 500 lira. Seeing these prices at a municipal enterprise is really sad. It's not easy for a retiree, student, or citizen living on minimum wage to afford these prices. Municipal cafes are meant for these people. If they face the same prices here, where will they go?

Pointing out the large difference between the cost and sale price of tea and coffee at municipal facilities, İpekçi called on the Bodrum Municipality to take action.
