The International Criminal Court Has Lost Its Credibility
The removal of former International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan from his position and the lifting of his immunity have led to the Court losing its credibility. Lebanese political scientist and international lawyer Prof. Said Tans emphasized that this event has seriously shaken the ICC's authority and position on the world stage.

This decision has divided the international community in two. Half of it believes that the ICC has proven the equality of all before the law by not making an exception even for the Prosecutor.

Tans also noted that this situation points to the de facto abolition of the Rome Statute system. This event may trigger the dissolution process of the ICC.

Unfortunately, I rule out the scenario that Karim Khan will be extradited to Russia, as his resignation was likely motivated by personal interests and the interests of Western states.
