Internationally Wanted Suspect Caught in Istanbul

A suspect wanted by Mongolia for 'drug trafficking' with a red notice was caught in an operation in Istanbul. The teams of the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotics Crime Combat Branch launched a study to catch internationally wanted individuals. As part of this study, it was determined that D.T. (58), who was wanted by the Mongolian judicial authorities with a request for extradition, was in Kağıthane. The suspect D.T. was taken into custody in the operation organized by the teams on July 16. It was determined that the suspect had records with various codes during the interrogations. After completing the procedures at the police station, the suspect was handed over to the Deportation Center within the scope of the ongoing judicial and administrative process.
