UltrAslan Leader Shirin's Statement: 'I Don't Know' Defense for Millions of Liras of Money Traffic

The statement of Sebahattin Shirin, the leader of UltrAslan, who was taken into custody within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been revealed. Shirin, who had a large amount of foreign currency, gold, and jewelry found in his house and an unlicensed pistol seized, said 'I don't know' about his son's 38.4 million TL banking transactions.Shirin claimed that the money consisted of his personal savings over the years and gifts from his son's wedding about 8 months ago.Another notable finding in the house search was the large amount of jewelry. In his statement to the prosecutor's office, it was stated that the total value of the seized gold and jewelry was 12 million 477 thousand 880 TL as of August 10, 2026.
