Leader of UltrAslan, Muzaffer Şirin, Faces Request for Judicial Control

The leader of the UltrAslan fan group, Muzaffer Şirin, was referred to the court after completing his procedures at the police station as part of an investigation into illegal betting and sports crimes. A request has been made for judicial control, including house arrest and a ban on traveling abroad, due to allegations such as 'publicly disseminating misleading information' and 'possessing unlicensed firearms and ammunition'. After a health check, Şirin was taken to the Istanbul Justice Palace, where he gave a statement to the prosecutor. The proceedings against the suspect are ongoing.During the investigation, Şirin's statement to the prosecutor also addressed allegations related to the Law No. 6222 on Preventing Violence and Disorder in Sports. This includes his social media posts that allegedly disrupted the order of the matches and allowed unauthorized spectator entry.
