Massive Drug Operation Across 75 Cities Results in 846 Arrests

A large-scale operation targeting drug dealers across 75 cities has resulted in the detention of 1,628 suspects. Of those detained, 846 were arrested by the courts, while 290 individuals were placed under judicial control. The operation was a collaborative effort between the General Directorate of Security's Department of Combating Narcotic Crimes and public prosecutor's offices. The operation involved 2,442 teams, 6,105 personnel, 22 aircraft, and 43 narcotics detection dogs, leading to the seizure of a significant amount of narcotics. The operation yielded 1 ton 447 kilos 873 grams of narcotics and 418,273 narcotic pills.
