US Report Reveals Significant Decline in Arms Shipments to Ukraine

A report submitted to Congress by the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Atlantic Resolve Operation (SIG-OAR) has revealed a substantial decrease in US arms shipments to Ukraine. According to the report's calculations, in early 2026, the US arms shipments to Ukraine decreased by approximately 80 percent compared to the average monthly levels during the Joe Biden era. Between March 2022 and December 2024, the US shipped approximately $43.4 billion worth of arms to Ukraine, with an average monthly shipment of $1.28 billion. In the first quarter of 2026, shipments continued primarily under previously signed Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) contracts, averaging $266 million per month.
