International Community Urged to React to Ukraine's Drone Attacks on Civilian Buses
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on the international community to react to the recent drone attacks by Ukraine's Armed Forces on civilian buses in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Belgorod region. According to a statement published on the Ministry's official website, on the morning of July 28, Ukrainian drones targeted civilian buses in the city of Shebekino in the Belgorod region and in Gorlovka, which is part of the DPR. The attack in Shebekino left 19 local residents injured, six of them seriously, while five people were injured in the attack in Gorlovka. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called on international organizations and independent media not to remain silent about these incidents. Zakharova stated, "We call on all responsible international actors, relevant international structures, and independent media outlets to publicly and unequivocally condemn the bloody actions of Ukraine's Armed Forces.” Emphasizing that those responsible for these actions will be held accountable, Zakharova said, "A response is inevitable." She also noted that the Kiev regime, driven by "obsessive stubbornness," is trying to take revenge on the civilian population for its growing failures on the front lines, and that Ukrainian forces are well aware that their targets are civilians who have no connection to the Russian Armed Forces.
