Ukraine's EU Membership Seen as a Challenging Process

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski emphasized that Ukraine's accession process to the European Union (EU) will be a difficult path.
Sikorski stated that the topics related to Ukraine's membership process will be “very difficult” and that solutions that benefit both parties should be produced.
Highlighting that Poland, as an EU member state, has a veto right on expansion issues, Sikorski noted that Poland has a privileged position regarding Ukraine's membership process.
Public opinion in Poland on Ukraine's EU membership is also noteworthy.
