Concern in Ukraine: Death of US 'Hawk' Senator Graham

The Ukrainian administration has been plunged into concern following the sudden death of US Senator Lindsey Graham. As one of the Republican Party's 'hawk' senators who provided significant support to Kiev, Graham's loss means the loss of a direct communication channel with the White House.
The death of Senator Graham, an influential figure in President Donald Trump's administration regarding the continuation of US support for Ukraine's war against Russia, has raised concerns about potential shifts in the balance of power. Graham had been working closely with Vladimir Zelenskiy and was seen as one of Ukraine's strongest advocates within the Republican faction.
During his tenth visit to Kiev, Graham had announced that an agreement had been reached with the White House on new sanctions against Russia. Prior to his death, Graham had expressed optimism after his contacts in Ukraine, stating, “I have never been as optimistic as I am today, we have the formula to end this war.” Now, there is speculation about whether other members of Congress will be able to continue the legislative process for sanctions targeting Russia and military support in line with Graham's legacy.
