Ukraine Border Guard Service Denies Military Buildup Along Belarus Border

The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service (GPSU) has denied claims made by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelenskiy of a military buildup in Belarus. GPSU Spokesman Andrey Demchenko made significant comments regarding the current situation along the Belarusian border. Demchenko stated that there were no unusual movements or threats along the border.

There is no deployment of an assault group, reinforcement of military units or equipment near our borders.

Demchenko also emphasized that there has been no increase in the number of Belarusian military units deployed along the Ukraine-Belarus border.
