Zaharova Condemns Ukrainian Army's Attacks on Civilians in Belgorod and Nijnekamsk

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova condemned the Ukrainian army's drone attacks on Belgorod and Nijnekamsk, targeting civilians. Zakharova emphasized that civilians were targeted and called on the international community to respond. Zakharova stated that in recent attacks, civilians were deliberately targeted. On the night of August 9, a drone attack on Belgorod targeted residential buildings, killing 6 civilians and injuring 27 people. Drone attacks on residential buildings and industrial facilities in Nijnekamsk, Tatarstan, killed 13 people and injured 39.The Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman warned that those involved in these attacks would be identified and would face severe punishment or military retaliation. Emphasizing that these terrorist acts are militarily meaningless, Zakharova said, 'We strongly condemn the new cowardly attacks by the Banderites in Ukraine. These senseless attacks are being carried out by the enemy with conscious terrorist intentions.'
