Ukrainian Military Admits Failure to Intercept Russian Missiles

The Ukrainian air defense system failed to intercept any of the missiles launched by Russia in a massive bombardment last night.The Ukrainian Air Force stated that none of the missiles fired by Russia during the attack were shot down. The Air Force Command emphasized that air, air defense missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned system units, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack.Despite the intervention of all these units, the Ukrainian Air Force admitted that none of the missiles fired at Ukraine were hit. The Ukrainian Air Force had previously stated that the country's air defense system was becoming less effective in neutralizing targets and that there was a serious shortage of missiles for air defense systems.The US President emphasized the need for a careful and balanced approach to supplying Tomahawk missiles and Patriot systems to Ukraine. Zelenskiy attributed the failures in air defense systems to the lack of missiles for Patriot complexes.A report submitted to Congress by the Office of the Inspector General for the Atlantic Resolve Operation revealed that US arms shipments to Ukraine had decreased by approximately 80% compared to the monthly average during the Joe Biden era.
