Three Ships Carrying Military Cargo to Ukraine Hit

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that three ships carrying weapons and military equipment to the Ukrainian army in the Odessa region were targeted by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and kamikaze munitions.In a statement from the ministry, information was provided about the operations carried out by the Russian army against the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Black Sea.The statement stated that three sea vessels carrying weapons and military equipment to the Ukrainian army in the Odessa region were targeted, and "objective control systems in the field confirmed that all targets were successfully hit."According to the ministry's data, the targeted objects were hit using "Geran-2 Seeker" and "Gerbera Seeker" type unmanned aerial vehicles and "Lanset" type circling munitions (kamikaze UAVs).Previously, the Special Envoy of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rodion Miroshnik, stated that Ukraine used its sea route as a "24-hour open channel" for arms shipments. Miroshnik noted that approximately eight thousand military cargo ships had passed through the ports of Odessa in the past three years, which explained why the infrastructure was targeted.
