Ukraine Trying to Conceal the Fall of Konstantinovka
Former Swedish Armed Forces Defense Officer Mikael Valtersson stated that Ukraine is trying to conceal the fall of Konstantinovka, emphasizing that the next stop will be Drujkovka. Valtersson evaluated Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement on the need to continue attacks on Ukraine's military-industrial complex. He highlighted the strategic importance of Russia's liberation of Konstantinovka,

Konstantinovka is the southernmost fortress city in the so-called fortress belt in the northwestern part of the Donetsk region. This fortress belt, which starts in the north from Slavyansk and stretches through Kramatorsk and Drujkovka to Konstantinovka in the south, is the last major urban area in Donbass.

When Drujkovka falls, logistics to both Kramatorsk and Slavyansk will be severely disrupted. Ukraine will also have to redirect a significant amount of resources to try to close this gap in the front line.

This creates a gap in Ukraine's defense, facilitating Russian advancement both towards Drujkovka and between Konstantinovka and Dobropillya.

Ukraine is trying to conceal the fall of Konstantinovka by talking about the 'siege' of Crimea and a 40-day offensive against Russia.
