Ukraine Conflict: Kremlin Spokesman Comments on Kiev's Stance

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov evaluated Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's statement on freezing the conflict in Ukraine during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Peskov stated that the conditions for stopping the clashes are clear and that if Kiev makes the necessary decisions, everything could end by the end of the day.
Peskov noted that President Putin responded to Tokayev's proposal to freeze the conflict by detailing the course of the Special Military Operation. Emphasizing that the Kremlin's basic condition is to achieve its goals, Peskov said that given Kiev's current stance, freezing the conflict in Ukraine is not possible.
