Turkey to be Scorching Hot for 3 Days

The heatwave that has taken over the country is expected to push temperatures 6-7 degrees above seasonal norms for 3 days.
The heatwave that has affected many European countries will take hold of Turkey for 3 days. Temperatures are expected to rise 6-7 degrees above seasonal norms, with some areas possibly reaching 50 degrees Celsius in the sun.
Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen warned that in Istanbul, areas with high-rise buildings and dense construction will experience even more sweltering heat, saying, "Tropical nights where the temperature doesn't drop below 20 degrees prevent the body from resting. If the body can't recover overnight, the impact of the heat on health will be much more severe."
Meteorology Consultant Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen stated, "The western part of Europe will start cooling down from today, but the heat will move into Turkey via the Balkans. Today, Tuesday, and Wednesday, temperatures in many areas will rise 6-7 degrees above seasonal norms."
Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen indicated that the highest temperatures will be seen in the Aegean Region and warned that Aydın will be the most affected city, with temperatures possibly reaching 42 degrees Celsius in the shade.
