Weather Warning in Turkey: Rain and Dust Storm Expected

The Meteorology General Directorate has issued a warning for rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, and dust storms in the inner and eastern parts of Turkey. Some provinces in Central Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia are expected to experience rain.The Eastern Mediterranean, except for Mersin, the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, Niğde, Kayseri, Sivas, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, and Kilis, as well as the northern and eastern parts of Van, are expected to experience intermittent rain and thunderstorms. The Meteorology General Directorate has also issued a warning for strong winds and short-term storms in the Southeastern Anatolia Region.In other regions, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy and clear. Another important warning from the Meteorology General Directorate is about dust storms. The dust storm expected to affect Southeastern Anatolia may cause disruptions in transportation, a decrease in air quality, and a reduction in visibility. Authorities have warned citizens to be cautious and take precautions against potential negative situations.
