Turkey Weather Forecast: Rain and Dust Storm Warning

The Turkish State Meteorological Service has released its latest weather forecast. Temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal averages, with local rain showers and dust storms warnings issued for many regions.The northern parts of the country and the Mediterranean will experience partial and heavily clouded weather. Local rain and thunderstorms are expected, while dust storms are predicted in the eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia.The Marmara Region is expected to have partial and slightly clouded weather. Local rain showers are forecasted for the western parts of Istanbul and the northern surroundings of Çanakkale. Temperatures are expected to reach 32°C in Istanbul and 35°C in Çanakkale.The Mediterranean Region will continue to experience hot weather, with thunderstorms expected in the Toros mountains and the inner parts of Adana and Antalya from noon onwards. Temperatures will reach 39°C in Aydın and Denizli, and 40°C in Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa.The Black Sea Region is expected to experience heavy local rain showers in the eastern coastal areas, Ordu, Artvin, Kars, and Ardahan. Temperatures will reach 29°C in Rize and 28°C in Trabzon.
