Renowned Turkish Actor Can Kolukısa Passes Away

Can Kolukısa, a prominent figure in Turkish cinema and theater, has passed away at the age of 92.
The actor's family announced the sad news through a post on their social media account, stating, 'We have lost our father. May he rest in peace. Funeral information will be shared later.'
Born in Eskişehir in 1934, Can Kolukısa received his early education at Işık Lisesi and later studied at Istanbul University's Faculty of Economics. He then pursued his acting education at the Sorbonne University Theater Institute in France.
Throughout his theater career, Kolukısa performed with notable ensembles, including Cep Tiyatrosu, Oda Tiyatrosu, Dormen Tiyatrosu, Sahne Z, and Halk Oyuncuları. He served as the artistic director of Gaziantep City Theater from 1991 to 1992.
Can Kolukısa appeared in numerous significant film productions, such as Kapıcılar Kralı, Postacı, Züğürt Ağa, Selamsız Bandosu, Arabesk, Asılacak Kadın, Mavi Sürgün, and Aşk Filmlerinin Unutulmaz Yönetmeni.
He also had roles in various television series, including Asmalı Konak, Muhteşem Yüzyıl, Hanımın Çiftliği, Gibi, Balkan Ninnisi, İnci Taneleri, and Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı.
