Turkish Women's Volleyball Team Advances with Victory Over Poland

The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team won their first match in the third week of the 2026 FIVB Nations League, defeating Poland 3-1. The team achieved their 7th victory in the VNL, currently taking place in Japan, while Poland suffered their 3rd loss. Melissa Vargas scored 23 points, and Zehra Güneş, who missed the first two weeks of the VNL due to injury, returned to the national team in the match against Poland. The team will face the USA in their second match of the third week on Friday, July 10. The match was played at the Asue Arena, with Jiang Liu (China) and Sumie Myoi (Japan) as the referees.
