Trump Warns Iran: I Will Take Necessary Actions If You Don't Comply
US President Donald Trump claimed that if Iran's frozen assets are released, most of the funds will be used to buy agricultural products from American farmers. Trump emphasized that he will take 'necessary steps' if Tehran does not comply with the agreement terms.

If the sanctions are lifted, money will enter the country. All of this money will return in the form of food purchases, which the people desperately need. The money we lift will largely go to our farmers, especially our farmers.

he stated. When asked how he would prevent Iran from using the revenue from oil sales to rebuild its military, Trump replied 'We'll see' and added:

They shouldn't do that... They should use the money to buy food for their own people... They openly take it from us: corn, soybeans. This should be a lot of money,

Trump also responded to a question about the potential consequences of a military conflict with Iran on the global economy, stating that nuclear weapons could leave a crisis behind but would lead to it much faster. If Iran does not comply with the agreement, Trump said, 'If Iran does not fulfill the requirements of the agreement or behave appropriately, I will do what I have to do.' The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Abdolnaser Hemmati, stated that according to current agreements, Tehran is not obligated to buy agricultural inputs from the US.
