Trump Comments on Iran Negotiations

US President Donald Trump stated that he is actively involved in negotiations for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and believes an agreement can be reached soon. Trump made comments on the ongoing contacts with Iran, saying

I am involved in the negotiations. I think this will be over soon. I do not think they can hold out much longer

Additionally, Trump dismissed concerns over US military munitions stockpiles, stating

We have munitions stockpiles all around the world. We will use them if needed. Our supply is available everywhere and we are in a very good position.
