Topkapi Palace's Sherbethane Reopens Its Doors

The Sherbethane in Topkapi Palace has reopened its doors to visitors after approximately 9 months of restoration work.The number of exhibits in the Sherbethane has increased from 174 to 452 after the restoration.Many artifacts that were previously not visible to visitors are now on display for the first time. The renewed exhibition features numerous artifacts reflecting Ottoman culinary culture, including porcelain nevruziyelik, silver and tombac ashure testilers, sherbet glasses, sherbet cubes, Chinese porcelain pickle cubes, censers, and rosewater containers.
