Major Material Theft at TOKİ Construction Site: Suspect Detained

A suspect alleged to have stolen approximately 2.5 million lira worth of materials from a TOKİ construction site in Gerede, Bolu, has been detained.An investigation was launched by the Police Department's Public Order Branch and the Gerede Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau on July 8, following the theft at the construction site.As a result of the operation, the suspect, C.Y., was caught, and a search of their addresses yielded approximately 2.5 million lira worth of 62 circulation pumps, 124 valves for these devices, 11 natural gas seismic valves, and 3 rainwater hydrophores. According to the suspect's statement, these materials were allegedly stolen from the TOKİ construction site.The suspect was taken to court after procedures at the police station and was arrested by the court. The seized materials are to be handed over to the construction site authorities.
